Mark started working in the financial services industry in 1984. Having worked for a national IFA, regional solicitor and leading UK insurance company during this time, he has thoroughly enjoyed establishing Encompass with his fellow directors since 2004 when it all started. Very much a team player Mark has been involved developing his connections with other professionals such as discretionary fund managers, solicitors and accountants. Helping to solve client solutions in the financial space is what Mark really thrives on. He believes that as Encompass has evolved it is now best placed to cater for all it’s clients needs with a robust and transparent advice process.

Mark takes an active interest in most areas of financial planning but if asked which area really interests him it would be estate or inheritance tax planning. Outside of work Mark is a keen golfer and a member of the prestigious Sunningdale Golf Club. Mark has recently been appointed a trustee to a wonderful local charity which does great work for terminally ill children and families not so fortunate as some. Setting up a Sunningdale office in 2009 has meant Mark can devote some of his time to local community work. Getting that work life balance is important and he believes in practicing what you preach.

Our experience with Mark has been an extremely positive one. Everything has been explained to us in a straightforward and understandable way. There has been significant work by Mark to analyse our current financial situation and recommend the way forward and the excellent Lifestyle Financial Plan which has been the outcome of a number of meetings, together with the financial data provided to Mark, is an extremely useful, not to say an enlightening document, forming the basis for our long term financial planning.
